During these unprecedented times, we recognize the need to do all we can to ensure the health and safety of our guests and associates. We will continue to closely monitor and follow guidelines from the CDC and local health departments.

We are also taking standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are adding additional steps to surpass the standards set forth for our industry. We will continue to monitor and adjust our services and offerings based on industry and regulatory directives.

Below are specific areas we are addressing throughout the guest experience within our hotel:

  • All rooms and public spaces are sanitized with a fog machine using a non-toxic, organic, biodegradable, and broad-spectrum disinfectant liquid that is safe on all hard surfaces and harmless to humans and warm-blooded animals.

  • All out-of-state guests traveling into Vermont must meet a 14-day self quarantine requirement in their home state before arriving at our property. A short health questionnaire must be filled out and will be kept on hand for 30 days.
  • Curbside check-in signs will be posted at entrance. Guests will have an option to wait in their car until assisted by a front desk agent, or if arriving on foot/bike, will be able to check-in at a converted office window.

Registration Desk

  • Our registration area will remain locked to promote curbside check-in. Plexiglass shields will be installed at the front desk to ensure the safety of guests and staff in the event a guest must enter the office.

Lobby & Corridors

  • Signage will be posted throughout the property to inform guests of the hotel’s cleaning measures and the location of sanitizing stations. Interior corridors will remain closed unless demand calls for them to be reopened. If interior rooms are sold, the front desk and housekeeping staff will clean the areas hourly.

Guest Rooms

Departure Cleaning

    • Room attendants are required to wear protective clothing before entering a guest room - mask, gloves, and in some cases a gown if the guest is presumed to be ill.
    • Room attendants will keep the guest room doors open for ventilation while cleaning.
    • The room will be stripped of garbage, linen, and terry, and these items will be placed outside of the room in labeled bins. All towels, shower curtains, and comforters will be washed after each guest.
    • The room will be sprayed with Lysol and the bathroom with disinfectant. These disinfectants will be left on surfaces while linen, terry, and trash are brought to the proper location.
    • Room attendants will wipe down all hard surfaces with a disinfectant, with a heavy focus on high-touch areas.
    • The room will not be re-rented within three hours of the post-departure clean.

Stayover Service

    • Stayover cleaning service will be limited to guest stays exceeding three days.
    • Guests may not be present in the room during the cleaning.
    • Room attendants will keep the guest room doors open for ventilation while cleaning.
    • Room attendants will be required to wear masks and gloves.
    • Guests may call the office to request that towels, coffee, and other supplies are delivered to their room.

Food & Beverage

  • Coffee stations will be removed from each building, and we will be offering fresh coffee and tea delivery to guest rooms upon request.

  • Keys are to be left inside of the room or inside of the key drop upon departure.
